The inaugural vehicle in our range, Bruno is a Playforever original, born from a childhood love for tin cars and inspired by the elegance of classic cigar racers. Founder Julian Meagher aimed to create a debut piece that was not only timeless and striking but also exquisitely crafted from the finest materials. After extensive research into production methods to achieve the glossiest surfaces, 5mm thick wall sections that resonated with a solid sound when tapped, and genuine rubber tires, Julian's dream became a reality following a meeting with Nicky King at Habitat in 2004. The first Bruno racing cars rolled off the production line and into homes and playrooms across Europe. The Bruno story is one of passion and dedication, resulting in a cherished toy to be treasured and remembered for generations.
